I haven't updated in a while, things were pretty quiet in June. But so far July has not been so easy. I will update again later on, we had quite a lot going on in July. We had Devynn's uncle Paul (my brother) and two of his kids, Tim and Ken from BC come to Toronto for 2 weeks! THAT was awesome!! We also went to a cottage for 2 days. Will update later today with pics.
July 5- fever, headache, weak, dizzy, pains in tummy at night. Tylenol for pain every 4 hours. No appetite.
July 6- fever, headache, dizzy, weak, tylenol for pain every 4 hours. No appetite.
July 7- fever, weak, fever seems to be coming down. Tylenol not needed every 4 hours, its stretching out longer in between. No appetite
July 8- Fever, but feeling a lot better. We went to the blood clinic in Dr.Simmonds building to have a blood draw. It will be faxed to her rheum dr.
July 14- diareah, no apptetite
July 15- diareah, pooped pants. No appetite all day. Had 2 Sick kids appts. 11:30 with rheu, 12:30 with GI where they have lost her file. We are doubling her morning meds starting tomorrow.
July 16- doubled AM meds, diareah, pooped pants, bad tummy pain in the pm. tylenol for pain. No appetite.
July 17- vomited when she woke up, stomache pains, no appetite.
July 18- woke up 3x through the night with diareah, diareah all day, pains in tummy got worse so we went to Toronto East General emerg. They gave her pedialyte, observed her for 3 hours, felt around her tummy, and sent us home with more pedialyte.

- Hello, my name is Samantha and I am mommy to four wonderful children. We live in Ontario Canada with a house full of pets. I have decided to start a blog, to keep track of my youngest daughters medical problems. Devynn has had quite a few different recurring symptoms and unexplained rashes over the years. The last time she got sick, she ended up in the emerg with what we thought was her appendix, but was diagnoses as mesenteric adenitis. Her white blood count was slightly elevated, and she had inflamed lymph nodes in her abdomen. She spent two days in the hospital, but felt horrible for another few days. While we were in the hosp, they referred us to a GI at The Hospital For Sick Children. We have had two appointments as I start this blog. The first was our initial appt full of questions, taking weight, and of course…. taking blood. I’m sure the nurses will remember us for a while Last week she had a upper GI and we are awaiting the results. Positive thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated.
