Devynn's tale: Update Sept 26 2012

I haven't posted in a while. It's been a wild and crazy summer. We started the summer off by doing "The Gutsy Walk" for Crohn's and Colitis research. Devynn raised $609!
We're still having tummy pains, mouth ulcers, joint pains and the skin peeled off the bottom of her feet again July 2. She's also had a lot of migraines.
On Aug 10 she had a sharp, stabbing pain in her tummy and a little while later had a bm that was white and chalky looking. The pain was just below (and behind) her ribs on the left side. The pain was sharp stabbing and recurring.
On Aug 20 she had more mouth ulcers. She also had a neurologist appt at TEGH. She was started on a migraine preventative called Sandomigran DS. She takes 1- 1mg tablet at bedtime.
On Aug 23 she had an abd ultrasound at Sick Kids hosp.
Sept 13- Ped appt with her new ped. Dr.Foster- 34 kilo 143 cm
Sept 14- day 1 milk free (for a month)
Sept 17- started Bio Gaia tabs

Now for a run down...
Apr 14- fever gone- thought she had gas, but had diareah on her bed
Apr 17- Thought she had gas again, pooped in pants
Apr 22- VERY gassy
Apr 24- 2 hives on chest approx 5 mm

Apr 30 Headache- tylenol
May 1- Migraine
May 2- Came out of school w migraine, lasted until bedtime. Pains in tummy, upper right side and around side between hip and rib. Stabbing pain
May 6- migraine
May 9- Bad headache in temples and eyes, both sides. Pain is 4-5 on a scale of 1-10. Pain in tummy, whole tummy both sides sick pain. Head is worse than tummy
May 10- Woke up w headache - missed school
May 11- Thought she had gas, but pooped in pants. Stomach pain. Bm went from constipation to diareah in one bm.
May 12- headache
May 14- headache
May 16- Headache- very gassy
May 18- Headache
May 19- Headache, sore throat, ear is popping
May 22- 4pm Dr.Speigel Clinic 9 THSC
May 31- Pain in middle of stomach, middle, feels like stabbing
June 4-Stomach feels gurgly and sore, but not hungry. Very foul gas. Eyes look red and bloodshot.
June 8- Left hip sore before school. Left ankle sore in evening. Very gassy, pooped in pants.
June 9- Stomach was very noisy and growly but not hungry.
June 11- Felt like she was going to vomit around 10:30 am every 30 min or so. Didn't vomit. Stomach pains, Diareah x2 Small poop in pants. Mouth ulcer on bottom lip.
June 12- diareah x4, noisy stomach, cramps, nausea, headache
June 13- mouth ulcer on top lip now as well, sore tummy, diareah x2, pain in upper left of tummy and bedtime. Tummy very noisy and gassy.
June 14- Sore tummy, diareah x4
June 15- Sore tummy, diareah x4
June 16- Sore tummy, bm starting to form
June 18- pain in right foot, around arch
June 19- " "
June 25- Very gassy, sore tummy
June 28- Very gassy
July 1- Sore tummy, gassy, toe peeling
July 2- Skin peeling off of toes again. Coming off in huge pieces, looks like broken water blisters but no blisters.
July 5- Sore tummy, very gassy
July 6- Really bad headache at bedtime, felt sick to her stomach headache was so bad.
July 12- Tummy ache, in lower tummy
July 20-27- was at Camp- sore tummy off and on.
July 29- Bad pains in tummy, right across tummy under belly button.
Aug 1- pains in tummy below belly button. Very gassy
Aug 5- " "
Aug 9- Pains in tummy
Aug 10- Pains in tummy on and off, sharp stabbing pain- crying. BM was white, chalky looking.
Aug 11- pains in tummy- bm normal
Aug 13- pain in ab, upper left behind below ribs. After pain, felt gurgling under ribs, only on left side. Pain is sharp, stabbing, recurring.
Aug 20- ulcers in mouth- Neurologist appt at TEGH
Aug 21- Started Sandomigran DS- 1 mg tab at bedtime.
Aug 23- Ultrasound on abdomen @ sick Kids hosp @2pm
Aug 26- Migraine, ice pack on head. Pain behind eyes and in temples. Tylenol
Aug 29- Pains in lower ab. She kept breaking out in a sweat and crying, coming in waves.
Sept 6- Headache- right side above ear. Feels like shooting pain along side of head. Pains in tummy
Sept 7- Call from GI nurse- blood work was fine, liver function tests were fine,ultrasound showed bulky liver?
Sept 13- Dr Foster- 34 k 143 cm- BM formed but not hard. Blood on toilet paper. Bright red, not a lot.
Sept- 14- Day 1 milk free- bm normal- formed but on soft side. Blood on tp again, bright red- very gassy
Sept 15- Stomach ache, lower left side- heartburn, very gassy
Sept 16- heartburn, very gassy
Sept 17- large mouth ulcer on her tongue- Started Bio Gaia tabs today
Sept 18- Woke up w stomach ache, mouth ulcer is very sore
Sept 19- Stomach ache, not feeling well. Very gassy, noisy tummy. Mouth ulcer is very sore. Missed school.
Sept 20- Joint pain in left hip. Started around 2:30 lasted until approx 6pm (no meds) Very gassy, mouth ulcer still big and sore.
Sept 21-Joint pain in left hip and both ankles. Had to go to school to give tylenol @ 11am. Mouth ulcer starting to get smaller, but still sore.
Sept 24- Very gassy- ulcer is getting smaller
Sept 25- very gassy.
